Mark Frisch is a London‑based composer creating emotionally driven music for film, television, and visual storytelling. His work blends a strong melodic instinct with a modern, unique, cinematic sensibility, shaped by years of experience writing for artists and collaborating closely with creative teams. He enjoys exploring new approaches to harmonic and rhythmic structures as well as striving to use novel ways to record and process audio to keep the listener intrigued and engaged.
Before moving into screen composition, Mark was signed as a successful songwriter with Peer Music, where he wrote charting songs for internationally recognised artists including Kim Wilde and Jennifer Rush. His time in the commercial music world honed his craft in melody, structure, and emotional clarity — skills that now underpin his approach to scoring narrative projects.
Today, Mark focuses on composing music that deepens character, heightens atmosphere, and supports the director’s vision. Whether working on intimate drama, stylised genre pieces, or student graduation films, he brings a collaborative spirit, a fast turnaround, and a commitment to storytelling through sound.
